We have all seen those shows “World’s Dumbest Criminals,” and other such shows but when people crash vehicles for moronic reasons it not only can be dangerous but it can also be funny, after we make sure there were no injuries of course. Kick back and relax as you enjoy the next five stories of idiot drivers who ended the drive with a crash.
This man was a bit too excited over renewing his license
Exciting as it may be to renew your driver’s license you might want to be careful driving to the center to do so. In 2010 a gentleman was on his way to the Department of Licensing office in Spokane Valley, Washington about 1:00 in the afternoon. When he went to park his vehicle his foot slipped off the brake, pushing the gas pedal and sending his vehicle into the building! I wonder if he had to retake the driver’s test after that one.
No drive thru, this man makes one
Sometimes it can pay to have a small car, like the elderly man in Lincoln, USA found out in January 2013 when he decided to grab a pizza. His foot apparently got stuck on the gas pedal, which sent his Honda Fit through the front door. While other citizens who witness the accident called 911 the elderly man simply phoned his order into the pizza shop for his pick up order.
Grand Theft auto and then turning yourself in — the hard way
If you are going to steal a vehicle you should be a bit more careful with it. Back in 2012 Amanda Jefferies a 27 year old woman decided to steal a white truck. The sad thing is the police only had to chase Amanda for four minutes, but if they would have just waited she ended up crashing the stolen truck into the administration offices of the downtown San Angelo police headquarters, so she would have come to them.
Last time I checked Fred Flintstone’s example on how to stop a vehicle should not be tried at home
I am sure we have all seen the Flintstones and how they operate their vehicles, right? Most of us realize this is a cartoon and most times should not be attempted at home. Someone should have told this to the 24 year old man from Roseville when he attempted to stop his vehicle using his feet! The attempt was a failure and he ended up hitting four other vehicles and is now being charged with Reckless Driving and driving with a suspended license. While you might think that the man had to be under the influence of something, sobriety tests showed he was sober but overly tired, either way the idea was a stupid one that will cost him in the end.
2 days, 2 businesses, and 2 cars — oh my
You would think after one accident you would learn to be a bit more careful, right? Not so much for Mary Hasselberger a 66 year old female who had two accidents with two different vehicles and two different businesses all in two days’ time. The first accident occurred on a Thursday, when Mary ran her Ford Taurus through a wooden fence between a private residence and a Dunkin Donuts. After getting her renal the next day again Mary was out and about and this time while driving the rented Buick
